My name is Mary Ann Bigelow.
I am a wife, mother of three adult children, parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Parish and the Director of the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life Retreat Ministry at SFX Parish.
I have been involved with the Spiritual Exercises Ministry at SFXsince 1994, making the Everyday Life (SEEL) Retreat in 1995. This nine month directed retreat changed my life forever, opening me up to a relationship with my God that continues to bless and grace my everyday as well as stretch me and challenge me on a daily basis. St. Ignatius once said, “There are very few people who realize what God would make of them if they abandoned themselves into His hands and let themselves be formed by His grace.” The Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life Retreat is truly an opportunity to deepen our awareness and experience of God’s grace manifest in our lives. The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius are a treasure to the world. We are so blessed to have this prayer experience as part of the charism and mission of this parish.
